Korrupt ‘s review of cixxxj ‘s ‘Sensor’:
“The listener is immediately confronted with contagious low-end patterns combined with a poppy kick. The combination gives the low frequencies space within the audio spectrum to flow. The spacious sounds add straight vibes to the surroundings and are the foundation of a solid build-up towards the first drop.

“The drop is straight pressure, it’s interesting to hear how more percussion comes into the mix very slowly with a lot of control, nice technique from Cixxx J! The drum patterns are varied and the kick leaves serious damage behind. The heavy hitting snare is layered well and definitely leaves a dangerous impression on the listener.

“The distorted horn used as a short break sounds aggressive, as the beat suddenly changes. This method is applied by Cixxx J a couple of times in the break with a deep impacts as a result! After the impacts, new percussive elements are added, ‘completing’ the whole tune. A great balance is used between each element, giving each its own space. At the end, Cixxx J builds down slowly, ending ‘Sensor’ similarly to how the track started!

“It’s interesting how Cixxx J decided not to use any sort of long break – but kept throwing sub-driven beats at the listener. This tune contains seriously meditative vibes and should be an instant rinse in a set in my opinion. It’s a true dancefloor killer! Watch out for Cixxx J’s productions in 2013, we predict he’ll be making serious moves!”

Happy monday from the FKOF fam and Bologna‘s cixxxj!
